A Message from David Warner

This coming term I will be dealing with strategic College issues and working largely from home. I have worked with the Chairman, Chris Heysen, to identify these key issues, some of which of course have come out of the Board’s Workshop.

I have undergone treatment for lymphoma which has temporarily affected my immune system. My physician has advised me to avoid situations where I may be at risk of catching any kind of virus until my immune system has recovered. This prevents my immediate return to the school environment. I am recovering well but elect to return to the school for the start of Term 4. I apologise for this, but it is important for my family and me and the school that I get on top of my health and am fully fit by Term 4.

Greg King who is Principal in my absence, is a very approachable person and very responsive to student and parent concerns. He will continue to be responsible for the ongoing operation of the school. Chris will liaise with him on a regular basis as he has always done with me.
