Not many of us get to handle an Olympic Gold Medal, but those attending the Business Breakfast sure did!
The Treetops at Melbourne Museum provided a beautiful venue for the inspiring words of Winter Olympic Champion Steven Bradbury OAM. A wonderful mix of ELTHAM Community members came along; representatives from the ExECS Class of 1981 right up to Class of 2009, Ex Staff and Current Parents together with the College Founder Les Clarke and Current Principal David Warner. We all listened intently to the Steve Bradbury’s amazing story and laughed at his very “Australian” brand of humour. It was a great occasion to launch the brand new and improved ExECS website and online Business Directory.
Some of the great feedback we received:
“ A quick note to congratulate you on the success of the breakfast yesterday. The arrangements went splendidly and I thought our speaker was both entertaining and inspiring. Well done.”
“….that was awesome, one of the best speakers I've heard and I've heard a lot.”
“It was great to meet several past teachers as well as business representatives. Its a great opportunity to meet these people i would not otherwise. I plan to contact some of the people sitting at my table as their organisations and education background are related to my interests. Stephen Bradbury was also a really great choice of speaker, my father has attended a conference with him before and said to me that his story is very interesting and inspiring and what I heard this morning lived up to those expectations.”
